Hi there! My name is Jonathan Izzard, and I’m an artist who recently earned my Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts from community college. Art has always been more than just a passion for me—it’s a way to explore, express, and connect with the world around me. It has been my sanctuary, my voice, and my greatest teacher, allowing me to tell stories through themes of spirituality, mythology, and personal identity. Recently, something incredible happened—I was accepted into the New York Academy of Art’s Summer Undergraduate Residency Program. This prestigious, month-long residency in New York City will allow me to study, create, and collaborate with artists from all over the world while refining my skills and expanding my artistic vision. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will push me to grow as an artist and open doors I never imagined possible.

But while this opportunity is thrilling, it also comes with a significant financial cost. Between tuition, housing, travel, and living expenses, I need to raise $6,000 to make this dream a reality. As an emerging artist, I’ve worked hard to build my craft and showcase my work in various venues and spaces, but opportunities like this don’t come often, and I can’t do it alone.
