Hey All,

My name is John Beauford, age 55.

I have been in a nursing home/rehabilitation center for over the past 3 yrs due to multiple physical health issues. I recently found out that I have congestive heart failure. I have an infection in my right eye and both ears. I can’t raise my shoulders. My back and knees are destroyed. My hips are gone. I am losing my speaking ability and my memory. I keep fighting, but I am tired of living in physical and emotional pain. I have fallen on hard times physically and financially. I am looking to resume independent living in the near future and to pursue my goal of publishing my poetry and a book. Prior to health issues and rehabilitation, I was a fully functioning person. I graduated college with a bachelor’s degree, played in the state tournament for basketball for Cleveland Saint Joseph, and worked as personal protection for several celebrities. I am in the process of acquiring the necessary services and support in efforts to accomplish my goal of returning home. Funds are needed for my monthly expenses to include rent, utilities and basic need items. Thank you for any donations you provide from the bottom of my heart.
