Hi all, my name is Joe. I'm a Navy veteran, a lifelong martial artist, and guardian of three black cats.

In late 2024, I was diagnosed with cancerous tumors in my colon and liver. After undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, I'm happy to report that the mass in my colon is no more; however, we're still dealing with the more serious tumor in my liver.

Unfortunately, just when things are looking up, my employer has decided to let me go, taking my insurance with them. Without any income, I'm left with massive medical bills and no way to pay them. The timing couldn't be worse: my doctor is trying to get liver surgery scheduled to remove the last of the cancer, which is a massive and costly procedure.

This feels like I've had my legs cut out from underneath me, just when I could see the finish line. So, I'm asking you, whether you're friends, family, or complete strangers, to help me in my time of need. I'm so close to being cancer-free, and the only thing keeping me from it is a lack of funds.
