My name is Jessika I was first diagnosed with kidney disease in 2000, at just 20 years old. Testing showed I had end-stage kidney disease,there was so much scar tissue on my kidneys that doctors have never been able to identify the cause.Starting dialysis was tough, but I was determined to keep going.

I met Joey online. We quickly became close friends and eventually fell in love.

“At first, it was casual. We didn’t see each other often, but we talked constantly,” Joey said. “Over time, we became best friends and partners.”

Joey has also become a support for myself in my kidney journey.

“I do whatever I can to help,I’ve learned the kidney diet, I remind her to take her medications, and I encourage her to rest. You see Jessika likes to stay busy, sometimes too busy.”

Around Valentine’s Day 2025, we got the news: hubby was a match.

It was the best Valentine’s Day gift ever!!!!

But we aren’t in the clear just yet.

Joey still needs more testing to make sure it’s safe for him to donate,I also have high anti-HLA count and need to be approved for a therapy so I don't risk rejection.

If I got a transplant today, my body would reject it,But I’m not giving up. We’ll find the right treatment.

So I've been to three states looking for the right treatment.. found it in Jackson memorial hospital in Miami Florida.

But we are short on funds to get there for travel and I'll be out of work and planted in South Florida for three months. We entered America's Favorite Couple Contest to win 20,000,but unfortunately we only placed 8th ...so why we are going this route( suggested by fox news anchor) Thank you in advance for any help brought our way!
