Help Jesse fight his battle with trigeminal neuralgia
Donation protected
Update: Jesse starts nerve ablations today after undergoing several nerve block low-steroid injections to try to minimize pain. We're hoping that we can get him through the next three months to get back to work as a drug and alcohol counselor/case manager! Thanks!
My son, Jesse, who is 39 years old, has faced incredible challenges in his life! For the past six years, he has been working as a professional in the field of addictions after getting clean from drugs and alcohol on his own.
Approximately one year ago, he suffered from a medical-related injury to his left eye, which has resulted in trigeminal neuralgia and significantly reduced his vision. He has had to go on unemployment and endure immense pain and multiple repeated nerve block injections to try to regain function and alleviate the pain. He has also had to give up his driver's license.
He is trying to maintain his home, raise his children, and get back into the workforce eventually. He doesn't like asking for help but will do anything for his children.
