A little about this fund:

My dearest friend Jenny was diagnosed just a matter of days after her 40th birthday this past May, 2024, at her first ever routine mammogram. The medical team found extensive tumors in both her breast and surrounding lymph nodes centered on her right side.

It was at this point she and her husband Jay received the devastating news that she in fact, had stage 3 breast cancer that had already spread to local lymph nodes.

After receiving her initial care at Lowell General hospital, Jenny and family, decided her best option was to pursue her remaining care through Dana Farber cancer institute in Boston, Ma. Where she attends today. She has already completed three rounds of chemo and fighting hard everyday.

Jennys diagnosis came as a complete shock and was devastatingly difficult to explain to their young daughter Liv (7).

Liv’s ability to comprehend and articulate this news is astounding. This is a true testament to the amazing parenting by both Jenny and Jay. But she is still a child and everyday brings a new challenge for them all to face.

Following diagnosis, Jenny was given a very aggressive treatment plan. This includes 5 months initial chemotherapy, mastectomy, radiation, additional hormone and chemotherapy(s), then finally reconstructive surgery. At this point they are conservatively looking at a 2 year treatment plan.

Today, I am humbly asking for any donation to go to this incredible family. Jenny was advised to not work for the foreseeable future, which we would all expect. The money funded will be used towards the mounting medical bills they are receiving, food, travel expenses and a myriad of unforeseen costs to help them get through these next two years.

Jenny has literally spent her entire life GIVING all her light and love to the people around her, young and old. She is a pillar in her yoga community and genuinely one of the best humans I have ever known. If you know her, Jay or Liv, I know that will all go without saying
