Jenn's journey began with an ER visit on July 25, 2024. Exams determined that Jenn had a bowel obstruction due to a cancerous tumor in her lower colon. Jenn received an emergency surgery that culminated in two additional abdominal surgeries, due to complications. Jenn was admitted to the ICU after her second surgery on July 28, and Jenn remains at Northwestern University Hospital in Chicago, making great progress and huge strides daily!

Jenn's family is amazed by the many friends near & far and coworkers & friends from Lurie Children's Hospital that are supporting Jenn right now. They can't thank everyone enough! They also greatly appreciate the loving support and prayers flowing in from Jenn's close network and family.

This is where Jenn's Army steps in for the upcoming mission: helping Jenn with what's next. Jenn is waiting on word from Shirley Ryan Ability Lab, Chicago's world-renown Rehabilitation Center. As you can imagine, Jenn has already worked her tail off getting to where she is today. Jenn's job right now is focusing and fighting to keep herself on top of this battle! Jenn will need help with general every day bills, current, ongoing, and future medical bills & expenses, and transportation all while her beloved Transport Team position is on hold. What better way to alleviate stress and help her out, because we all know that she would be the first person to drop everything and help anyone! Let's help her focus on her fight and recovery by helping to take care of things behind the scenes!

It is incredible to witness the impact and relationships that Jenn treasures and shares! Let's help give this girl all the ammo she needs!
