Join Jennifer to Save SWEET Chief

Hi everyone. I am reaching out to YOU on behalf of the sweet Bryan family. I am praying that we can raise the money to try and save their puppy Chief, their GSP, and their two kids' best friend. Michael is 6 and Maddie is 4 and they don't understand why their precious dog Chief has been so sick.

Mike and Jordann Bryan (along with Michael and Maddie) brought Chief home back in September 2024. He's a precious German Shorthaired Pointer. Mike (Dad) has dreamt of owning a GSP for YEARS. He did his research, looked for reputable breeders and eventually found the PERFECT baby, Chief!

Within a short amount of time Chief started getting sick. He would become very lethargic, refuse to eat and have a really upset tummy when they were able to get something down him.

After several vet visits, Chief was diagnosed (finally) with intussusception. Basically, his intestines were telescoping within themselves. Chief underwent a surgery for this back about a month ago (to the tune of $2200). Chief never really "got better", but he's been hanging in there. Our local vet that did the surgery referred him to Auburn University yesterday (that bill was $1200). The Bryan family has already spent upwards of almost $4,000 on Chief. They found out yesterday that he needs another surgery that's estimated to be $6,000-$8,000 in order to survive.

Here's where you, my friends, come in. It's impossible for a couple with two small kids (who are very attached to this dog) to come up with that kind of money. BUT YOU can help. A small donation of $5 here or $20 there will make SUCH a huge difference if we can get this spread around.

Unfortunately, Chief's breeder doesn't want to help with his care AT ALL or even refund anything from Chief's initial adoption cost. So, again, this financial burden has fallen totally on this sweet, typical, middle-class family.

Mike is a fireman who is known to help anyone he can, in any way he can. Jordann is a youth pastor who spends a great portion of her time helping others. Let's please help THEM!
