Hello. Thanks for reading and donating if you can. I wanted to create this page to help my brother, Jeff Belonger, 58 years old. Like so many others, our family has been affected by cancer.
My brother, who is a veteran, amazes me on the beautiful life he has created in Philly and his passion for helping other veterans, those homeless, hungry, and who have been wounded. He is single, works hard, and over the years has developed an amazing network of friends from all walks of life, including his dart group, his Phillies family, and of course his veteran family. He is also surrounded by lots of family, extended family and friends that I am sure near and far would want to help.
My objective is to gather all of these amazing friends to help him through this as much as we can.
He has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon cancer that is also in his liver. He has started chemo, has gotten a port, and needs someone at every visit every other week.
We just aren't sure on much else except I would like to take some of the burden of worrying about medical bills, missing work (which he is on his feet daily), paying his rent, making sure he is being cared for during this time.
I am certain with the friends he has -they will jump in to help in other aspects but hoping people can help on the financial side.
Ps. I spoke with my brother about this, and he said that for any funds not used, he would like to donate to a veterans organization in the Philadelphia area.
Thank you all for reading and please keep him your thoughts and prayers.
