Join Jeff Dutra’s Fight Against Cancer

My name is Noell I am starting this fundraiser for my father Jeff Dutra. He is a father to myself and my 15 year old brother Jeffrey. He was diagnosed with an aggressive small cell esophageal cancer this year. The cancer has spread to two other organs and he is undergoing chemotherapy treatments.

He is a son, a brother, a new grandfather, a friend, a cousin, an uncle, and a strong amazing man. He loves his family and will do anything for those he loves. He is stubborn and going to fight this. Unfortunately treatments and cancer don’t wait for him to finish a day at work. They are affecting his ability to participate in what was his prior day to day. Expenses and bill due dates also do not go on hold.

I am asking as one of many who love and care for this journey Jeff is going through if you would consider donating. The funds will be used to preserve a normalcy for my brother in the home and aid in the many expenses to follow.

We will be hosting a fundraiser on September 7th, 2024 and ask if you can attend to aid in raising awareness in our community and provide support to please join us.

Update 8/22/24:

We have sold almost 200 tickets for the fundraiser and have received so much support from the community. We thank you all, and hope that this has allowed for awareness to be spread and love to be shared. Jeff is holding strong for his family, fighting every day. He had his most recent scan showing that chemo has been properly targeting his cancer. He will receive another scan in November- and continue treatment.

Update 12/27/24:

Jeff has undergone one full chemo treatment plan, one full radiation plan, and is currently in a new chemotherapy plan. He has been continuing to fight and stay strong. The treatments have provided difficulty with the immune systems and caused additional care in the ICU for illness, infection, and blood counts. He has a care team to manage his pain and nutritionist to assist in recovering weight loss. The family have been very close and supportive during this time, as it has been increasingly difficult for him.
