Seven years ago, on the day before Thanksgiving, Jeanne completed what she thought was her final radiation treatment for Breast Cancer. She went through 12 weeks of Chemo, a lumpectomy, and 38 bouts of Radiation... and she WON!!! Fast forward seven years to 2024 and on the day before Thanksgiving, she received a scary new diagnosis of “Metastatic Carcinoma, morphologically consistent with breast primary origin”.

After 4 LONG months of Lymphedema Occupational Therapy for a shoulder problem she was encouraged to see an orthopedist to see if she had a tear in her shoulder or rotator cuff. A MRI was FINALLY ordered and confirmed a very large mass and several smaller masses. The biopsy results came in 7 years TO THE DAY that she had celebrated being Cancer FREE!

The next step is to solidify a plan to attack her malignant tumor. That plan will not include surgery because the tumor is too large and entangled in the nerve center in that region. Chemotherapy & Radiation will most likely be used to shrink the tumor and kill the cancer.
