Join Jaxon's Fight Against Brain Cancer

Jaxon Campbell, BSU's #1 fan, was recently diagnosed with a grade 2 Ependymoma, which is a cancerous brain tumor. He underwent emergency surgery to remove the tumor on 11-11-2024, and while the surgery has been successful in removing 98% of his tumor, he has yet to begin to recover. Since his surgery, he has been in a medically induced coma as he dealt with pneumonia, an infection, and now is recovering from Acute Respiratory Disease Syndrome. He has been on a ventilator and feeding tube for 18 days now. He finally seems to be recovering, but it will still be very slow going, and his journey is only beginning. Once he is well enough to breathe on his own and wake up, he will get a tracheostomy and a GI tract feeding tube. Then he will go to Salt Lake City for intensive physical rehab from his surgery and radiation therapy for the 2% of the tumor that remains. He may or may not need chemotherapy after the radiation.

His mom, Toni, has not left his side and will need to continue to be by his side throughout this challenge he faces. So, on top of the medical bills they face, she is unable to currently work. We are trying to raise money to make it financially possible for her to stay by his side with as little financial stress as possible.

Anyone who knows Jaxon knows he is all heart. He is kind and courteous. He loves BSU football, camping, and fishing and can't wait to bow hunt. He is a good student and he likes to play with his friends outside as well as online. He doesn't deserve this, but he deserves his mom by his side while he faces this fight. Any money raised will go to help pay medical bills as well as to help meet monthly bills while Toni is off work.
