I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help on behalf of my dear friend Jamie and his beloved dog, Leyla. Leyla has been part of Jamie’s family a loyal companion, emotional support, and best friend rolled into one. She’s now in a critical health crisis, and they are doing everything they can to help her pull through.

Recently, Leyla suddenly stopped eating and became severely lethargic. Jamie rushed her to the vet, where blood tests revealed dangerously high creatinine levels (8.0) — a sign of serious kidney dysfunction. After fluids and an appetite stimulant, she started eating a little again, giving us a glimmer of hope. But sadly, she’s since stopped eating, and her kidney levels haven’t improved.

Despite the setback, there is still hope. With continued treatment — including IV fluids, medication, and close veterinary monitoring — Leyla has a fighting chance to recover or at least stabilize. But time is critical, and so are the funds needed to keep her treatment going.

Jamie is doing everything in his power to save Leyla, but the mounting medical bills are becoming overwhelming. Between repeat bloodwork, emergency care, and ongoing treatment, the costs are adding up fast.

If you know Jamie, you know how much he loves Leyla. She’s more than a pet — she’s his family, his baby, and his light through hard times. Helping Leyla means helping Jamie hold onto someone he loves more than anything.
