Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for support as I navigate some significant new challenges in my cancer journey. As many of you know, my battle with cancer has been ongoing, and recently, I've encountered some serious developments that require immediate and specialized attention.
The Current Situation
My diagnosis is complex and challenging, involving multiple neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) that have spread to various parts of my body. Here’s an overview of my current situation:
- Neuroendocrine Tumors Behind My Stomach: I have three large neuroendocrine tumors located behind my stomach. These functional NETs are impacting my gastrointestinal health and contributing to worsening Gastrin levels.
- Neuroendocrine Tumors in My Liver: There are two neuroendocrine tumors in my liver, complicating my overall health and treatment plan.
- Neuroendocrine Tumor in My Femoral Neck: A 2.5cm tumor has been found in my femoral neck (hip), raising significant concerns about the potential for a bone fracture.
Seeking Specialized Treatment
My doctors here have recommended that I seek treatment at a tertiary cancer center with specialized experts. My Oncologist is advocating for treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota where they may have access to trials I can not get anywhere else.
New Treatment Plan
Due to the continued growth of my cancer, it is also likely that I will be moving to a more toxic drug combination. These new treatments and consultations are crucial, but they come with significant financial burdens.

Even with insurance, the cost of these specialized treatments, travel to Rochester, and the new drug regimen is overwhelming. I am humbly asking for your support to help cover these expenses. Your contributions will directly aid in funding:
- Travel and accommodation expenses for appointments at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.
- Radiation treatments.
- Additional biopsy procedures, ongoing imagery, and any subsequent treatments.
- The new, more intensive drug combination treatments.
