Jackson's Journey to Dream Voyage

Jackson is one of the most memorable and intriguing kids you will ever meet. Jackson is nine years old, highly intelligent, packed full of quick wit, and an ability to charm almost everyone he interacts with. Unfortunately, Jackson has a confirmed diagnosis of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a genetic disease that causes muscle weakness that progressively deteriorates. Jackson witnessed this disease take someone he loved dearly. Chase was Jackson’s uncle and the two were extremely close. In 2019, Chase passed away and Jackson’s disease is a constant reminder of his loss. Jackson suffers from depression and losing Chase brought a lot of darkness into his life. He stays as upbeat as possible, however knowing the tragic timeline of his progressive disease, Jackson struggles with depression..

Within the last year, Make-A-Wish has made an incredible effort to grant Jackson a wish and he chose A Marvel themed Disney cruise. Due to commence one day after his 10th birthday in February. Jackson cannot wait and is so patiently counting down the days.

Despite this once in a lifetime opportunity, the reality is as Jackson’s parent I cannot afford to simply jump aboard and cruise the tropics for 5 days. I am a single mom of two children, Jackson, 9 , and Emmett, age 3. I do not receive any support financially for either children and I am currently unemployed. My wish is to make Jackson’s wish as beautiful and enlightening as possible, yet financially I am worried. Jackson deserves a beautiful, memorable wish. Any donations raised through this platform will grant both Jackson a fun, filled cheerful vacation that is not a huge financial hit on our little family of 3.
