In November 2021 Spoiled Rotten Photography was blessed to meet this wonderful family at Goddard Midtown School in Atlanta Ga. Ms. Katie, Jace and Miliana. Little did we know that the baby of this family Jace with all the smiles that a little baby should have was facing so much in his little body. Below you will read about Jace and his family.
" Two years ago, Ms. Katie's world shifted.
Ms. Katie is the Assistant Director at the Goddard School of Midtown. Her rambunctious two-year-old, Jace, isn't just full of boundless energy, he has a heart that needs to fight every day. June 19th of this year marked a year since little Jace has been listed for a heart transplant. Jace's journey has not been easy, there were tears, fear, and a little anger along the way. But through it all, Ms. Katie and the rest of her family remain hopeful and thankful, knowing that things could be worse.
When you see and play with Jace, you see your typical two-year-old boy, very energetic, loves to run and keep up with his big sister Miliana. But, on the inside, his heart is telling a different story than what it portrays.
Ms. Katie became a heart warrior mom, navigating a maze of appointments, medications, and a constant undercurrent of worry. Every giggle, every gurgle, became a precious echo of his strength, a reminder to be his fiercest advocate. It's been a journey of stolen nights researching, holding his hand through procedures, and fiercely loving him every step of the way. Though fear can be a constant companion, Jace's resilience is Ms. Katie's courage. He's her heart warrior, and together, with the support of their family and friends, they'll keep fighting."
Spoiled Rotten Photography has had the pleasure of photographing little Jace for the past 3 years he has brought so much joy to us with his beautiful smiles we wanted to launch this fundraiser to help Ms. Katie and her family in their time of need. We had a Mommy and me photo session at the Goddard School and we raised $1500 all of the fund from this session is going to Ms. Katie and her family to help in anyway possible with Jace's fight. We were told that other families would like to help in this fundraising effort so we decided on this GoFundMe so others may also contribute to this wonderful family. Once this GoFundMe ends we will present all fund collect to Ms. Katie. It is our hope that this small jester will help this wonderful family not only be able to breath a little easier but we want them to know that Jace has a community of people that are praying for him everyday and LOVE him. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
