Our family is heartbroken. Two years ago, we faced the unthinkable when little Leo battled brain cancer. Now, my brother Josh and his wife Kelsey are facing that same nightmare. Their first child, Isla, has just been diagnosed with a rare form of kidney cancer.
Isla is a bright-eyed, joyful baby girl. She has a fierce little spirit packed into a tiny frame. She’s only one year old, and she should be chasing bubbles and learning new words, not preparing for major surgery and a possible round of chemotherapy.
Tomorrow, Isla will undergo a critical and expensive surgery to remove the tumor. This will be followed by further treatment, tests, and long hospital days. Her parents, Josh and Kelsey, live an hour away from the hospital. They’re both hardworking parents. Now they will need to take time away from work to be by Isla’s side fighting to save her life while trying to stay afloat financially.
We are asking for your help to lift this family up so they can stand and fight for Isla.
Every dollar will go toward medical bills, travel costs, time off work, and the long recovery ahead. If you can’t donate, we ask you to please share Isla’s story on socials just like you did for Leo. Spread her name. Let people know about this brave baby girl and the incredible parents standing strong beside her.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading, donating, and sharing. This is more than a fundraiser. It’s hope, love, and community and Isla needs that more than ever right now.
With gratitude,
Tyler and the whole family
