Hi, my name is Micala, and this is my boyfriend, Joel Trevino. He is 25 years old. He got diagnosed with Stage 3 Embryonic Testicular Cancer last February 2024. It’s stage 3 because it spread to his lungs and back. He did chemo for 3 months during last summer. He had 3 tumors that shrunk considerably. Praise God they are not active, but they are still there, so they are monitoring those. However, a metastasis of his cancer spread to his hip bone. That spot has not grown or shrunk, so they are keeping an eye on it. He is still not told that he is cancer-free. He is currently in medical limbo and has doctor check-ups every other month to just check his progress.

Since he was diagnosed, he had to leave his full-time position, and now, finally, he is doing a bit better. He gained weight and grew his hair back! However, it has taken a huge toll on him financially, with all the hospital/appointment bills. He has been overworking himself with doing Uber, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Instacart, etc., just to make ends meet. He will literally work from 7 am to 6 am the next day doing Uber rides. I made this GoFundMe for him to help ease his transition while he is still waiting for the doctors to finally say he is in remission. If you feel called to donate $10-20, that would be greatly appreciated. This will be going towards helping him pay for his doctor bills, rent, gas, etc. If you only feel it on your heart to pray, that is more than enough!! We would love to have hundreds to thousands of prayers for him to be completely healed and cancer-free in Jesus' name.
