My dear friends, family, associates, and well wishers.

I have dedicated my life to inspiring others through teaching, mentoring, business start-ups, and product design.

I've been so blessed to live, work, and engage with people across the world; as a passionate linguist, learner, and visionary, my life experience has been remarkable.

I have just learned that there is a cancer in me; I have been diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer. To be more specific, my diagnosis is positive for metastatic carcinoma, with immunostain phenotype consistent with metastatic lung adenocarcinoma.

This diagnosis comes as a shock as I have never smoked, I eat and live healthily, and there is no family history.

Ahead of me is a journey that includes a series of tests to determine the specifics of this cancer, research, and treatments. I am approaching this travail as I have other life challenges and opportunities: dedication, passion, curiosity, wonder, and innovation. I ask you to please join me on this journey; I have always believed in the power of collaboration, fellowship, friendship, and working towards a common cause. I need you!

As I proceed, I will share my journey, challenges, and triumphs. I am blessed to have insurance to cover much of the cost of what lies ahead, but this challenge will impede my ability to work and cover all the expenses that I face; that is another reason I am launching my campaign.
