Recently, Josh Rowe was the victim of a heartbreaking and senseless  crime. Josh is a talented musician but like all musicians in Nashville, he had a day job. Josh's day job was driving for Uber.  He also used this job as an avenue of compassion and would give water to the homeless when he saw them in need.

On December 30th, Josh picked up a passenger, drove a few miles and then the passenger shot Josh at point-blank with the intent to rob and kill him.  Miraculously, he was able to exit the vehicle and run for his life to a shipping yard in the area. An employee was closing the gate and saw Josh running, screaming and holding his face.  The employee called 911 and within minutes police and EMT were on the scene.

He was rushed to Vanderbilt trauma ICU where he received critical medical care. Josh is currently still admitted to the trauma unit and will have major surgery to repair extensive damages sustained from the bullet's path.

Josh's life was spared. THANK YOU, JESUS! Seriously, God was present.  Josh does, however, have a long road of physical recovery ahead of him. With that, we can imagine the amount of emotional therapy needed to overcome the trauma of this violent crime.  Josh also will not be able to sing and hear properly for sometime which is heartbreaking for a musician.

In addition to his physical and emotional situation, Josh also lost his car which was his livelihood.

Considering all this, it would be understandable to be angry and revengeful. But that's not Josh. When Josh was finally connected with family, one of the first things he wrote down on paper was "forgive".  This is who Josh is.

Let's come alongside Josh and help provide for his medical bills,  therapy and vehicle replacement.   One of Josh's news songs is titled, "Sweet Recovery".  Please consider being part of the recovery team.

Thank you doesn't seem like enough but I know it will mean a lot to Josh and his family.
