Join in Celebrating Kyle's Beautiful Life

On May 5, 2024, Carole & Murray Elliott lost their only child, Kyle, in a boating accident while he was out fishing. Kyle was just 24 years old. To say he loved fishing would be a massive understatement! Kyle left this world doing what he loved, so they have that to hang onto. Some of you know of the tragic loss of Kyle’s girlfriend and soul mate Nadia in August of 2020. Carole and Murray thought they would never feel more pain than at that moment, but here they are. In their worst nightmares, they never thought they would out live their boy, as he seemed invincible to them! Kyle and Nadia are together forever and they take solace in knowing they will all be reunited when they are called up.

The family has received such an outpouring of love from family, friends, and the incredible friends Kyle had in his life. They miss him every moment but the prayers, messages, notes, calls, texts, cards, flowers, food & overall love you are sharing has lifted them up in unimaginable ways. They could not make it through this without you and want to thank you from the bottom of their hearts.

For those who never met him, he was incredibly confident, intelligent and had the kindest heart. Kyle was beautiful inside and out, always making everyone feel welcome into his life and their family.

Kyle grew up in Longmont, Colorado. In November 2018 Kyle and his family moved to Traverse City. The Elliott's have strong connections to the community in both locations.

The family is holding a Celebration of Life memorial gathering at their home in Traverse City, MI August 8-11, 2024. Their hope is for as many friends & family as possible to join them to visit, share, reminisce, laugh, raise a glass, cry and simply be together to celebrate Kyle's amazing, beautiful life. Funds raised from this GoFundMe will be used to support the family with funeral costs and the Celebration of Life event.
