Hello, this is my story.

I'm new to motherhood. My name is ToniMarie, and I'm 23 years old.

As a devoted and loving mother, I'm fighting alongside my brave little warrior, Hunter in the NICU. Despite the challenges we're facing, I remain optimistic and determined to give him the best possible start in life.

Family and friends mean the world to me, and I'm grateful for their love and support during this journey. As a caring and outgoing person, I'm reaching out for help to ensure my son receives the care he needs. Every contribution brings us closer to a healthier tomorrow. I found out I was pregnant, and I was the happiest I've ever been. Already super anxious and being a first-time mom, of course, crazy things ran through my head. It wasn't long before things became complicated during my pregnancy. Ultrasounds and appointments back to back to check on little peanut. Around 20w5d, I went into preterm labor, and my son tried to come early due to an incompetent cervix. I had a surgery (cerclage) and a procedure done to prevent labor, which caused me to be out of work for a period of time. Things were going great. With limits on what I could and couldn't do, I made it to 24w3d with my son, and I went into labor and dilated through my stitch.

Hunter made his appearance, Hunter Veil M., on March 26th, 2025, at 11:12 pm, weighing 1lb 11oz and measuring 13.3cm.

Quickly, everything changed. A whole new chapter of events and emotions flooded through my body and my head. It's a long road to recovery for Hunter, but we take it day by day.

Being as though I've been out of work due to all the complications during my pregnancy and being there every day for Hunter, things are getting a little hard financially and medically.

Anything and everything is appreciated in this long journey of recovery and healing for my son and our family.
