Week 13 of treatment.

12 of 12 Taxol (chemo) and Herceptin.

LAST CHEMO! FINALLY!

So glad this part of the journey is over! It gets so hard towards the end. I’ll start daily radiation in a couple of weeks for 4 weeks, and Herceptin infusions every 3 weeks for a year. I’ll start Tamoxifen soon too.

So thankful to ring that bell today and have some of my family there. I’ve had so much support and couldn’t be more grateful.

Holly is 37, married to my son Chad. Holly was diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer. She will have chemo and radiation. She had complications with lumpectomy and port placement surgery, resulting in a collapsed lung, chest tube, and extended hospital stay.

She has been taken by ambulance to 2 other hospitals and is at Presbyterian Hospital now.

If you have had any serious medical emergencies, you understand the cost of the hospital stays, doctor visits, chemo appointments, medications, and all of this while being out of work.

Chad has been by her side along with her mom, dad, and brother. But of course, this is more work missed.

10% of the proceeds will go to The National Breast Cancer Foundation as well.
