Join Her Journey: Overcoming Lymphoma

I have created my own GoFundMe account. Anyone who knows me, knows I do not ask for help very easily. I know there are 2 other GoFundMe accounts out there. I appreciate the people who started them. But one account many did not think was real. And the other account my dear friend started, has been reported fraudulent and the money that some of you donated has been returned to you. I appreciate everyone who has been so generous to donate.

That being said. I was diagnosed with lymphoma. More direct. Follicular lymphoma. A form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. I started this journey of seeing doctors because I got very very sick. My weight was 85 pounds. And the doctors could not figure out what was wrong with me. I became an advocate for myself. And after many many doctors. And scans. And tests and bloodwork. The came back with celiac disease and lactose intolerant. We thought I had a clean bill of health. But a week later my GI doctor called me on a Friday afternoon and said he had sent my biopsies to Cleveland Clinic and they came back with the diagnosis of follicular lymphoma.

Last week I had a PET scan done and a bone marrow biopsy. We are praying for great results!! I am very spiritual. I will never deny my God in front of anyone. The good Lord already brought me through breast cancer in 2013. And I have faith in Him that He will walk me through the fire again!! He is good. And He is faithful. And my faith is Huge. And I believe in Him.

So I know it is hard times for everyone. And I know that a lot of people do not like GoFundMe’s. I have had some people personally meet me to give me a blessing. I’ve had people mail me things. A card. I want you to know. I am one of the most humbled persons alive. And I love being humble. And having just what you need. We don’t need what we want. Right?? So if you can offer me prayers. That is beautiful. If you send me a card. Awesome. If you visit me. Super! We take a walk(when I have energy) lol. Or if it monetarily. Wonderful. Everything means everything
