Sometimes bad things happen to good people and the worst of things  happend to Heather Giao.  An active and energetic soon to be 38 year old mother of a two year old boy, who according to her blood work, is healthy as a whistle and has no syptoms associated with cancer.  Unfortunately the blood work is inaccuarate.  Heather has recently been diagnosed with Stage IV Triple Negative Breast Cancer that has infiltrated many of her lymph nodes, mediastinum, and lung.  She considers this to be both incredibly ironic and frustrating at the same time. With no early signs, intervention did not occur.  While the odds are certainly against her, her plan is to fight with every being in her body.  Through Heather's many years of work as a school psychologist,  in both preschool and elementary settings, she has touched many lives and helped change the future for young people.  We are now asking for your help to change the future for Heather and her family.  We are looking to raise $50,000 to help with treatment  and ease the stress of finances so energy can go towards fighting the uphill battle of Stage IV Cancer.
