Edgar Guerra, a long-time Pine resident, had a catastrophic stroke on Thursday morning 2/16/2023. The stroke caused a lot of irreversible damage to his brain. The pressure in his head has continued to increase causing more damage to his brain stem. Edgar is only 35.

His wife Renee has been by his side every minute of this horrific ordeal. Renee and Edgar should be celebrating their 1st anniversary which is on 2/22/2023. Instead, Renee has remained by his side hoping and praying for a miracle.

Edgar and Renee were long-time residents in Pine, AZ. Edgar was the manager at the Pinewood Tavern and a cook at The Weekender. Renee worked as a cook at the Pinewood Tavern, The Weekender and also worked at the grocery store.

I am appealing to the hearts and kindness of my fellow neighbors and friends to help raise $10,000 (or more) for Renee and Edgar. They will have many medical expenses and many other expenses as the months go on.
