For the first time in my life I'm leaving the U.S. and heading to Europe!

After 9 years of studying ancient Greek language, history, and literature, I'll finally be touching down in Athens on May 25, 2025. Since I graduated from the University of Iowa with my MFA in Literary Translation in 2022, this trip has been a goal of mine: four years later, it is now a late graduation and early 29th birthday present to myself.

I'm very proud to say I've worked many hours at different restaurants, saved and planned, and reached out to various friends across the globe to make this happen.

But that's not all! Because of an amazing network of friends and family, this trip has extended to an exploration of Europe. All flights are booked and all my people are expecting me. I'll be going to:

I feel so grateful to be traveling from May 13 to June 2. It's an immense privilege.
