- I
For five months, Hannah sought medical care as she was constantly feeling ill. Every doctor and walk-in clinic she visited dismissed her as having an upper respiratory infection, bronchitis, pneumonia, or COVID. Thankfully, she insisted and found a doctor who cared enough to run some tests. As of that point, it took a month to diagnose her with Thymic Carcinoma, which is a rare form of cancer with no known cure. When the doctors said all they could do was hopefully add a couple of years to her life, I felt my heart being ripped out of my chest. Hundreds, maybe thousands, of people began praying for her.
Then one day we get a call from the same Oncologist who gave us the devastating news, and she said that Hannah's "cells have done something weird" and have changed. This led to her diagnosis being changed to B-cell Lymphoma. This cancer has a 90% curable rate. Although we are definitely rejoicing in this miracle from God, there are many unexpected expenses that keep coming up, making a stressful time, even more difficult to handle.
I've been getting messages from caring people asking if they can help somehow, and so I decided to start this page. Anyone who knows Hannah, knows she is a light in this world, who gives of herself to anyone she meets. The funds collected will help Hannah cover some of these treatment expenses so she can focus on her health, instead of finances. I appreciate all the love and prayers we have received already. Thank you.
