Hi, my name is Jon Burchel and I'm raising money to help cover funeral expenses for my friend's 20 year old son who died tragically in a car accident on June 12. Funeral expenses are in the range of $10k or more, and the family was just in the process of a move already. Now they face the horrible grief of losing a child on top of having all their moving expenses still, and suddenly getting hit with a huge bill right in the midst of all that. So I want to help. I hope you will help too!

UPDATE: I wanted to share that Daniel's family decided they wanted to share part of the proceeds with the other families affected by the accident. Not surprising to see them being generous even in one of their darkest hours, but very moving to me. Please reshare! The donations keep coming in so as we spread the word I think we can reach our goal for them.

I can tell you that I've known Allison since we were just in high school. She is one of the kindest and most good humored people I ever knew. Everybody who knows her loves her, and it's impossible to interact with her without coming away smiling. She loves to make other people smile and laugh. Her job is even to organize ComicCon events around the country, and she gets so much joy from seeing the huge smiles on the faces of the folks who come to meet their favorite movie characters and dress up like them. She loves people, and it comes through in her friendships, her family relationships, and her work too.

So for a person so genuine and kind and beautiful inside and out to suffer a loss so unimaginable... she deserves a lot of help from all who know her. Please help me reach and exceed our goal to cover $10k of the funeral expenses for the family.
