Support Debbie MacEachern in her fight against cancer

Hello everyone, our names are Laura, Janice, and Chris, and we are reaching out to you to ask for your support and kindness for our dear, lifelong best friend, Debbie (Klatt) MacEachern.

Debbie has spent the last 15 months battling a severe form of ovarian cancer. Debbie has fought with her intense determination and incredible strength. Through chemotherapy and a clinical trial, she has fought with everything she had, and Deb is a FIGHTER! Sadly, she has reached a point where there are no further treatment options, she has accepted this with grace. Deb and her family have made the decision to enter hospice care and spend her time doing what makes her happiest, spending time with her family and friends and all those who she loves. She has graced the lives of so many.

Deb has lived her life devoted to her family, her husband John and their sons Maxwell and Colin. While raising her two boys, she worked for Manasquan Presbyterian Church for over 18 years as well as being an active member, working with youth groups and serving the community.

If you have ever had the privilege of knowing Debbie, John, and their sons you know grace, kindness, and generosity. Their existence is a true gift to everyone they encounter. If you know Deb, her stern looks of aggravation can send a chill down your spine until you both start laughing. Every look is a testament to her caring heart.

Deb and John have always gone beyond for everyone, and it is time for them to let others do for them. And for us to step up and help this amazing family, which is full of strength, faith, and love.

It is not easy to ask for help. In fact, they have not asked. With great reluctance, they are allowing us to help them to give to them a small part of all that they have done for others. There is no price tag for all that they have done. Their giving has been endless.

As John and her sons, Maxwell, and Collin, focus on her comfort and quality of life, the medical bills, hospice care costs, and other related expenses continue to mount. We are starting this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate some of these financial stresses.

• Any additional needs that arise during this challenging time.
