Our loving, creative, and adventurous brother, son, & friend, Graig, received a devastating diagnosis with Stage III Colon Cancer in February 2025. Due to the level of the illness, he had to leave his job in March and has been unable to do all the things he loves: hiking, camping, snowboarding, photography, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Graig lives on his own in Seattle, without any family members in the city. From April to August, Graig received chemotherapy bi-weekly, with family members traveling to the city to support him for each infusion.

Unfortunately, his health has been in decline, and after 10 rounds of chemotherapy, there has been little change to the aggressive tumors. His diagnosis has progressed to Stage IV disease. His treatment plan now includes radiation five times a week, for 6 weeks. Family members continue to visit and support him weekly.

We are all doing the best we can in this terrible scenario; however, it is a very trying time for Graig and our family. Graig remains unable to work due to his illness, and we do not anticipate this will change. We are all taking it one day at a time, and through it all, Graig continues to remain optimistic and bring humor to even the most difficult situations.
