Join Gail's Cancer Fight and Support a Family in Need
Donation protected
Our sister-in-law, Gail, found out that she has an aggressive, dangerous, but treatable cancer (a squamous cell carcinoma of the ethmoid sinus cavity) a little over a month ago. The tumor is in her sinus cavity and growing. She just began a rigorous, lengthy 96-hour chemo treatment last week, which will be her first of several difficult rounds before beginning radiation, then likely surgery.
It is going to be a tough road. Gail is the primary breadwinner for the family. She and her husband, Brian, have a 14-year-old daughter with Down Syndrome, and they are also the custodial parents for their great niece and nephew. Their first grandchild was born in January (see the cover picture). She is caring for her father who may be in his last days, and she visits with him every day, even during treatment. They also have some other big stressors.
This is a great family with a lot on them and any support you can offer would be amazing. She is a strong, resilient person and we are hopeful for a good outcome. Your funds would go to offset medical bills and meet other related needs that come up during this time, including transportation costs or other professional services.
