Hello! My name is Gabrielle and I never thought I would be someone who is asking for money, especially in todays economy. But here we are, desparate times and all.

My husband and I are the owners of the most lovable, cuddable, and cutest 3 year old pitty in the world. About 3 weeks ago Bentley got sick and we were told it was pancreatitis. He was slowly getting better, but on Wednesday night (5/8) things took a major turn for the worst. I ended up taking him in Thursday morning where they told us he had an obstruction that was invisible to the xray, and it lead to a perforated intestine and he was septic.

We rushed him to a clinic in Des Moines where he was given a 50/50 chance of survival. For us it was no question that we will try with everything in our power to save him. I am grateful to say that, although 3 ft of intestine had to be removed, God protected him through his surgery. He still has a long road of recovery and they are still concerned about him being septic, but so far that 50/50 chance is slowly getting higher and higher!

We are asking for help with the deposit we had to put down ($10,000) for him to get the surgery. We are blessed with anything you have to offer, no matter the amount, it will help us tremendously.
