Support Frogmen's Journey to South Africa

The SwampBots Robotics program was started to bring STEM education and opportunities to the children of our local communities, and more specifically, our rural and underserved communities at little or no cost to the families.
Since its inception, we have grown from 9 kids served to 110 kids this last year. Each year, the kids get to take part in a worldwide competitive robotics league called FIRST. Our Frogmen Team, consisting of 4th - 8th graders, got to compete against more than 650 teams from the State of Florida, finishing in 3rd place for the 3rd year in a row. This continued success has earned The Frogmen an opportunity to represent our local community, the State of Florida, and the United States of America as the ONLY US team invited to compete in South Africa on May 5th-9th at the Open Africa Invitational. Here they will compete against 80 teams from around the world as they put their robot and their coding skills to the test.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for these incredible, young engineers to show the world just how talented and amazing they are while representing the United States with Gracious Professionalism and Integrity. Although, not all the kids will be able to make the trip, we want to make this an amazing experience for the team members who make the trip. Please consider supporting SwampBots and The Frogmen on this amazing journey. We have set our goal at the estimated budget for flights, hotels, one outing for the kids and chaperones, and the registration fees for the event. The kids and chaperones are working on their passports and making sure they are ready to go, so let's all help get them there.
