On October 1st 2019 Emily Weber went to the doctor because she thought she had kidney stones. Her world was quickly turned upside down when her CT scan showed a mass in between her kidney and spine. After having a PET Scan and bone marrow biopsy she was diagnosed with stage 4 Non-Hodgkin Follicular Lymphoma a week later. After finding an amazing Oncologist and putting together a plan to care for her Emily took her first of 6 chemotherapy treatments. She cgoes 2 days in a row each month to receive her chemotherapy and will continue to each month until April. Follicular Lymphoma does not have a cure and it is very common for it to come back. Because of this once she has completed her chemotherapy treatments Emily will start taking an autoimmune medication called Rituxin and she will have to take it for 2 years. Emily is a warrior and she is making her way through this like a champ! Her husband Jay Weber and their children Jordan (12), Addison (7), and Reagan (2) have been by her side cheering her on. Because the Oncologist who specializes in Lymphoma was out of network with her insurance company they have accrued an excessive of medical bills and still have many more to come. I invite you to join Emily's road to recovery and donate to help her cause. Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and let's all show Emily our love and support and help ease the financial burden that comes with being treated for cancer.
