Hi! I’m Elliette Bobo and I'm a miracle with CHH-AD! Follow me & support my journey in this little life. I was born on October 19, 2023. I spent almost a year in the NICU getting strong enough to go home. I entered Children's hospital again in October of 2024 to have a Bone Marrow Transplant. I am currently still in the hospital battling Graft Vs Host Disease (GVHD). Please pray for me and my family. Please pray that this transplant is successful, and I can get to go home soon to begin my normal little life.
Below is a poem that my mommy wrote shortly after I arrived.
My Miracle You Will Always Be
We found out about you in March.
This was the start,
The start of something new.
Little did we know what this journey would turn into.
We told everyone you were our little lucky charm.
All we wanted was to have you in our arms.
We’ve heard your heart beat.
And we’ve seen you move your feet.
It’s all so sweet, we can’t wait to meet.
We found out you were a girl.
We couldn’t wait to give it a whirl.
20 weeks came so soon.
Our world turned upside down one afternoon.
Scan after scan, test after test.
This was really hard to digest.
You have a form of skeletal dysplasia.
The doctors said you would have pulmonary hypoplasia.
Cry after cry, prayer after prayer.
This was all so hard to bear.
The doctors said we would have to say goodbye.
All we wanted was to be able to say hi.
October 19th was the day,
But we didn’t know if you would stay.
We were so scared.
We didn’t know what God had prepared
Elliette Lane, that’s your name.
It means the Lord is my God,
A God that loves you far beyond
You were 5 lbs. of pure fight
and a Godly light that shines so bright.
The third of November,
A day we will always remember.
You breathing, breathing on your own.
Wow! Look at what God has shown.
I look you in the eyes.
You are my greatest prize.
You have shown us a love that we will hold onto forever
And given us a new perspective on life that is so much better.
Some say my baby you will always be
But I say my miracle you will always be.
We don’t know what this life in-tells from here on out
But we know God is in this story, we have no doubt.
