Help Eli’s Fight Against Leukemia: Support for Medical Bills and Family Needs
Our hearts are heavy as we share the news that 5-year-old Eli has been diagnosed with Leukemia. Eli has a tough battle ahead of him. He is currently undergoing treatment at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital after spending much of the week at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus.
Eli has already started chemotherapy, including a dose directly injected into his spinal fluid. Since the treatment, he has been experiencing significant pain and discomfort, but his strength and spirit remain unwavering. His loving parents, who are active members of their church and community, are by his side every step of the way.
Eli’s big sister, Kinsley, who is six, is staying with family while her brother fights this battle, and the entire family is doing everything they can to stay strong and united.
Many of you have asked about ways you can help or gifts you could provide to them. We are raising funds to help cover medical expenses, gas, and food during this extended hospital stay. The goal is to ease the strain on Laura and Michael so they can focus on what truly matters—being there for Eli as he continues his fight.
Eli is a kind, joyful boy who misses his friends and classmates at Chess Christian School. His family appreciates any support you can provide during this difficult time, whether through financial contributions or prayers.
Every little bit helps, and your generosity will make a world of difference for this family as they navigate the challenges ahead. Thank you for your love, support, and prayers.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
