Hi everyone, my name is Jocelyne and my husband Leo. We have the most beautiful boy Echo, who unfortunately was diagnosed with lymphoma on 5/29. He had to be admitted to the emergency vet last night and will hopefully be getting his first dose of chemo later today. Whatever anyone can offer to help is amazing even if it’s just getting the word out there. Echo is only 5 years old, he has so much life left in him and such a will to fight for it. He is the most precious, sweet boy and we want to give him the best outcome possible. If you know Leo and I, you know Echo and Casper are our worlds! Anything helps.
Thank you all so so much!!! The funds will be used to pay for Echos vet bills, ongoing treatments and chemotherapy. If anyone would like updates on him, let us know, we are happy to provide them.
We know this is a lot of money but Echo is a Great Dane so he is an extra large guy and takes more than what a normal sized dog would need for treatment. He will continue to receive chemo for 5 months as well. 4 weeks on and one week off totaling 16 treatments.
We know there is a fee and some people aren’t ok with that, if you’d like to donate directly to us please reach out to Leo or myself by using the contact button below or via Facebook/Instagram.
I will also try my hardest to share regular updates on Echo via Facebook or Instagram!!
On 06/02 at 1am Echo had a seizure, this is the 1st time ever, so we rushed to the ER. The doctors performed blood work and sent us home at 4am to monitor him. At 5:10am he had another, where we took the doctors advice and spoke softly to him and comforted him until he came out of it. Then again at 8am he experienced another seizure, we did the same, contacted the vet and they advised to bring him back to the ER, where he was admitted and has been receiving IV anti-convulsants in hope to break the cluster seizures and hopefully reset the brain activity. We are praying and keeping our fingers crossed this does the trick, but we still need everyone’s help! Please donate if you can or share as much as possible, friends, family, coworkers, anyone!! Please
Echo was able to come back home after 12 hours at the hospital, where he received IV anticonvulsants, which he will be on indefinitely now. He has been seizure free since his last one at 8am on 6/2. We are over the moon about this as this boy is already dealing with enough. We hope to continue on this road! He thankfully, right now, has an appetite and is drinking lots as a side effect his steroid. His next treatment will be on 6/7, where we hope to continue on an upward hill!
Once again thank you to everyone who has contributed and shared. We are so grateful
Today 6/7: Echos blood work was run before his 2nd dose of chemo. Everything came back good! He had a little ice cream as a post chemo treat, which he enjoyed! thank you to everyone for helping, we couldn’t do it without you!!!!
