Edward Franklin Robinson aka “DJ Ghetto Prince”

Around April 22, 2022, Edward Franklin Robinson—beloved by friends, family, and fans as “DJ Ghetto Prince”—was diagnosed with Sarcoma in its early stages. From that moment, Edward committed himself to preventative treatments in hopes of stopping the cancer before it could advance.

Despite his determination and the best medical care available, Edward has recently received the heartbreaking news that the cancer has progressed to Stage Four. This has brought a new set of challenges—physically, emotionally, and financially.

Edward has built a life filled with music, creativity, and community. Splitting his time between Rochester, NY, and the Virginia Beach, VA area, “DJ Ghetto Prince” has been a familiar face and voice at events, clubs, and gatherings. His unique sound, infectious energy, and deep love for music have made him a favorite in both hometowns. Over the years, his DJ sets have not only entertained but also connected people, creating memories for countless friends, fans, and neighbors.

Now, Edward needs the community he has poured so much into. Medical bills, travel expenses for specialized treatment, and the loss of income during this time are overwhelming. This fundraiser will help relieve some of that burden, giving Edward the ability to focus on his treatment, his loved ones, and his music—the passion that has fueled him throughout his life.
