Hello. My name is Desire. I am struggling financially since a major surgery last year. It's call a TPIAT surgery. I was 3rd person to have it done at Stanford University. Due to modesto Drs not doing anything about my pancreatitis for over 3 yrs, my pancreas exploded. Stanford University stepped in and offered me to be test subject for this surgery. Found out my pancreas had a genetic mutation and that was reason for problems. After 2 days and 21hrs of surgery I was repaired. I am T3C diabetic now but doing much better than before. My life sentence is now shortened but at least now I have chance to enjoy life a bit. I also have multiple bone diseases and conditions and many other health problems. I have to use a walker or cane to get around and can't drive anymore. I have had no income for a year now due to fighting SSI. I am appealing SSI and Drs are gathering more medical things to throw at them, even though I should never have been denied. Im embarrassed to even be doing this, but I need help with my bills and gas to get to and from my appts. I typically have 2-4 appts a WK and not all in town. If you can help me I will be forever grateful to you for your support and love. If you can't I completely understand. These days are hard for everyone. Thank you for taking the time to listen.
