I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. My aunt Carmen has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has already spread to her liver. This devastating news has turned our world upside down.

Carmen is a single mother to her 8-year-old son, who is just about to start school. Until recently, she was the sole provider for her household, but because of her illness she is no longer able to work. Losing her only source of income on top of facing these medical challenges has left her and her son in an extremely difficult position.

Right now, we are trying to get her the medications, tests, and treatments she needs to manage the pain and fight this aggressive cancer, but everything is out of pocket until her health insurance coverage begins and we don’t know how long that will take. The costs are overwhelming and continue to grow each day.

We are doing everything we can to support her, but we need your help. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference and help ease the financial burden so Carmen can focus on her health and caring for her son.
