Join Dee’s journey to beat cancer!

Dear Family, friends, and supporters,

My name is Lee, and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my best friend Dee and her family.

After discovering a very aggressive, rapidly growing tumor on her neck, it has been a very stressful few weeks between doctors and hospital visits where she received her diagnosis of a form of thyroid lymphoma, which is very rare.

She will have multiple chemo rounds and an upcoming surgery next week. She will be receiving more updates throughout the upcoming week after more visits with her oncologist to determine how long her treatment for chemotherapy and possibly radiation will be.

What we do know is that her first chemo treatment will be right around Christmas. As you all know, Dee and Evan have two beautiful young children, and with the treatments required to fight this cancer, it has left her unable to work, creating emotional and financial hardships during an already difficult and stressful time.

Dee’s two young children, her faith, strength, and her support system are what will allow her to overcome this dark period.

All of the proceeds will go directly to Dee and Evan to pay for her hospital bills, treatment, and help relieve the financial stress they will experience while she is focused on healing and beating cancer.

This is completely unexpected for everyone around her and none of us would ever think that a healthy 35 year old woman would have to go through this but we all have faith that this will not define her.
