Hi all, I'm affectionately called Dee and I'm currently fighting stage 4 MBC, which means I have breast cancer that has spread beyond the breast with tumors in both lungs and my brain. Well,now thw tumors have spread to my sacrum and my L1 and L2 vertebrae. But God! He has never left on forsaken me. Last year October, I underwent an oopharectomy and a prophylactic mastectomy on the left side. In January, fluid around my heart started to compress thw valves and I had a lung collapse! I had a pericardial window put in...chest cut open, ribs prayed apart and a hole placed in the cage around the heart. This "window" was left open to drain any future fluid to avoid the build up. I could once again breathe normal with out feeling like id been running the 400m hurdle.

Now with new spread, when asked how am I still here, my response is always the same...God. Jehovah Jireh, jehovah Shalom,ajovah Rapha!

Sickness will humble the most arrogant person. Self pride goes out the window!

I come to you as a very humble and prideful human with medical needs beyond my financial abilities, so I'm asking for your assistance to remove my ovaries, which both have large cysts growing on them, causing excruciating pain which may lead to additional tumors malignant) based on what my oncologist sees on my scans.

In addition, I need to have a second mastectomy to prevent further spread. My tumors have been stable, and I pray they continue to be stable as I continue this fight. I've been fighting cancer since 2008, and today in 2025, I continue the fight.

My surgeries are tentatively schedule for October 15th, and will be done simultaneously by a team of drs in Mexico.

I lost my older sister to breast cancer. In fact, when I started this fight, she was already in the battle of her life. We fought side by side for a year before she lost her fight. I was with her when her doctor at the time told her that there was nothing else they could do for her.

It was at this point that I vowed that no one would put an expiration on my life. GOD is in control. My faith in Him to heal me is beyond words I can express. It's because of Him I've made it this far. BUT faith without works is dead (James 2:14-26).
