Debra Jolma, our friend and a friend to so very many, is in the midst of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. She has been very candid about her journey on Facebook and for that, we can be grateful. It seems to be a good outlet for her to talk about her personal situation and feelings.

She is less open and even hesitant to share the financial implications of her diagnosis. She had been doing a great job saving to focus on her self-care and was excited about this summer and some of the opportunities both locally and with travel. This medical setback takes all of that away and then some.

While her prognosis is good, and she is committed to a positive attitude and the "fight", financially she could really use all of our help. As her friends who have offered to help in any way, we are providing this avenue if you have the means.

The ask is that you give if you can, and be generous. Additionally, we ask you to share within your networks particularly where they cross over with those that may have interacted with Debra through raising kids together, the hospitality industry, family and friends, or wherever else your path may have crossed.
