Join Debbie in Her First Mission Trip Adventure

Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this message finds you well and that you are enjoying the holiday season! I have some exciting news to share with you. After losing my husband and facing uncertainty about my future, I felt called to serve others and begin volunteering. Now, I have an opportunity to join a mission trip to the Dominican Republic with my church, Generations Christian Church, and our partner organization, GO Ministries, from March 15–22, 2025. This will be my very first mission trip, and I am thrilled to serve God’s purpose while also using my Spanish skills.

GO Ministries is a faith-based, non-profit organization that empowers local leaders in ministry to transform their communities. On this trip, I’ll be working alongside our Dominican and Haitian brothers and sisters to serve local communities and bring glory to God. Our team will help with construction projects, painting, and children’s ministry activities to meet the needs of the people we serve.

I am reaching out to ask for your partnership in two ways as we embark on this mission:

1. Prayers

Please pray for me, our team, and the people of the Dominican Republic. Pray that the Gospel will reach hearts and that our mission will be a blessing to those we serve.

2. Financial Support

I need to raise $2,000 to cover travel expenses, food, and lodging. The deadline for final payment is February 22, 2024. I humbly ask that you prayerfully consider supporting this mission financially. (Checks are tax deductible, but Go Fund Me contributions are not).
