This is my son Dawson. He is 18 months old and was just diagnosed with high risk neuroblastoma. He has a tumor on top of his left kidney that has spread to his hips and legs. We are looking to have his care moved to MSK in New York. They specialize in treating neuroblastoma and offer less aggressive chemotherapy and radiation. Which leads to less long term side effects. Unfortunately our insurance will not cover any treatment out of state. Our family will be relocating to New York for at least 4 months while he under goes treatment. My wife is a stay a home mom and I will have to take unpaid leave for work. This money will allow us to give our son the best treatment possible while keeping our family together during this very difficult and emotional time. We greatly appreciate any donations.
