In the fall of 2024, I started feeling... off.

Not just off, I was extremely tired, struggling to sleep, and constantly fatigued. Cloudy thoughts. Strange sensations. A nagging feeling that something wasn’t right. But like most people, I just kept pushing through.

Until one day, everything stopped.

Thanksgiving Changed Everything

I don’t remember much about that day.

It was Thanksgiving. My daughter found me unconscious, barely responsive, and acted fast, running to get her grandmother for help.

Together, they quickly called 911.

The ER team rushed me in. While I was unconscious, doctors discovered a 6-centimeter brain tumor, non-cancerous, but dangerously positioned.

The size of a small apple, lodged in the most critical area of the brain.

Emergency Brain Surgery While Unconscious

I underwent a craniotomy, emergency brain surgery before I even knew what was happening.

When I opened my eyes, my life had already changed.

The recovery was long.

The emotional shock hit harder than the physical one.

But against the odds, I pulled through.

And with the kind of clarity that only brushes with mortality can bring, I knew:

From Breakdown to Breakthrough

That’s when I started diving deep into healing, not just surviving, but rebuilding.
