Dear Friends, Family, and Hopeful Donors,

I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. My dear friend, David, is currently facing a tough battle against cancer. David and his family are bravely navigating this journey, but the financial burden of medical treatments and, as we know, associated costs—many of which are not covered by insurance—has become overwhelming. He still has maintained an amazing attitude throughout.

David is one of my best friends that I’ve known since we were 11 years old. It breaks my heart when I hear the pain in his voice when he expresses the hurt and pain he is going through. He talks about Dominic, his two year old son, and the anxiety in his voice is heartbreaking…’I may not be around for him to show him how to be a man, a good friend, be solid, a good human, etc… you all get it!...It hurts to the core. My heart is cracked and I hate …YES I HATE this DISEASE/CANCER to steal ME from my FAMILY.” When I hear this it tears me up inside, and as a friend I dig my heels in to be supportive, understanding and not want to scream in his pain. Let’s be all in and help the burden.

David thrives to be that solid, strong foundation for his family and MAN his son needs. I can hear it in his voice but I know he does not want me to feel his pain or desperation for help. He keeps his cards always close to his chest, and we are in a time of need and hope to lift a burden and to overcome obstacles as at a Team and Family.

He breeds courage and determination to recover. He is daily pouring his love and time into his family and friends around him. It’s a blessing to be around his present.

He has a gift to share in this life with his creative skills in his work and resilience to pump his love and life into his home with his wife, Stacey and Dominic. “I want to be around…I pray I can be a part of the ‘moments’ my family shares as a whole!”

David has always been the kind of person who brings joy and support to everyone around them. Whether it's dropping everything and pack your bags or I got your Six, 100%, David’s heart and thrive for life has touched the lives of so many. Now, it’s our turn to show them our love and support in their time of need.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly towards covering essential expenses such as:

• Out-of-pocket medical bills

• Transportation to and from treatment appointments

• Prescription medications

• Nutritional supplements and health products

• Everyday living expenses

UPDATE /// Currently David is healing and recovering with great results from on-going treatment and now awaiting surgery to attempt to remove the growth. After his chemo and radiation round has were completed the tests have come back with positive results and now we wait for the word back from doctors on the next move.
