Join Darcie's Squad in Her Second Cancer Battle

We often do not realize the battles some of us are fighting until we step into their shoes. Today, I ask you to step into the shoes of a brave single mom, Darcie, who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.

No one wants to hear that C word. Cancer. Expenses and bills do not take a break when cancer swoops in.

Darcie is balancing the responsibilities of being a single parent to a wonderful teen daughter, Hailey, all while undergoing treatment. As a community, we have the power to lighten her load and provide the support she needs during this challenging time.

That is why I have decided to create this fundraiser on behalf of her and her daughter. Your contribution will go towards covering medical expenses, household bills, and any other necessities that will ease the financial burden on her journey to recovery.

The journey ahead of her will consist of several chemotherapy sessions, doctor’s visits, radiation, and eventually surgery. We do not want her to worry about expenses during this fight that she WILL win.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. If you cannot donate, a simple share on your social media platforms will help Darcie during her fight.

Her first chemo treatment will be on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. I will post updates as her heroic journey to be cancer-free progresses.

She is a warrior and is fully prepared to fight this disease. Together, we can be Darcie’s cheer squad as she kicks cancer to the curb! FOR THE SECOND TIME. YES - you heard that right. She is already a thyroid cancer survivor.

To know her is to love her. She is truly one of a kind. The kind of person who has never met a stranger. A true delight to be around.
