Help My Mom Fight Severe MS and Brain Complications

Hi everyone,

I’m starting this GoFundMe to help my mom, who has been living with multiple sclerosis (MS) for the past 15 years. For most of those years, she managed to push through with courage and strength. But in the past few months, her condition has taken a heartbreaking turn, and she now faces severe and debilitating symptoms that have completely changed her life.

It all started just a few months ago when she developed sudden double vision, followed by weakness in her legs. Over time, she became unable to walk on her own, super tired, had zero appetite and began experiencing confusion and memory problems. These symptoms have left her in and out of the hospital for weeks.

Her doctors are working tirelessly to figure out the best treatment. So far, they’ve tried steroids and intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG), but the results have been uncertain. There’s even been talk of further treatments, like a brain biopsy or plasmapheresis, which come with additional costs and risks.

The medical bills are piling up, and we’re facing challenges with the cost of her care, medications, and the physical therapy she’ll need to regain her strength. On top of that, we may need specialized equipment and in-home care as she continues her recovery journey.

My mom has always been my rock, and it’s devastating to see her go through this. She’s a fighter, but right now, she needs help. Anything you can give, no matter how small, would mean the world to our family. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would help tremendously.
